The Dashing Aquatic Viper Reverse Osmosis & Deionization water filtration system stands above its class. The Viper comes complete with your choice of a hand held TDS meter or a dual inline TDS meter.
TDS stands for Total Dissolved Solids, the TDS reading is used to figure out how pure the water your testing is. With the hand held TDS meter you can compare your water quality with your friends, family or whoever you want. With the dual inline TDS meter you have a constant TDS reading of not only the water from the RO Membrane but the water from the final Deionization stage as well.
All Premium model filtration units come standard with a Pressure Gauge so that you know the pressure of your municipal or well water supply. Every chamber of your Viper acts like a member of an elite water filtration force.
- In chamber 1 you have a 5 Micron sediment filter, this is used as your first line of defense to filter out mud and debris.
- Next up is chamber 2, in chamber 2 you have a Matrikx 5 micron carbon block filter. The carbon block filter has a High VOC Reduction, High Chemical Adsorption and superior Chlorine & Odor reduction helping to prolong the life of your RO membrane and more importantly giving your water a better taste.
- Now the water proceeds to chamber 3, the smallest but most important chamber of the RO system. Chamber 3 contains a AM 100 GPD membrane that strains out impurities in your water and washes them down your drain.
- The pure water is transferred to Chamber 4 were the water passes through a color changing Deionization cartridge and has the remainder of the TDS removed. The color of the filter will actually change from blue to light brown when it’s worn out!
Now all that’s needed is to get a glass and some ice for your refreshing glass of RO/DI water!
